I think after I’d written my first Torchwood novel and my first BBC Audio ( Dead Air), David Richardson very kindly offered me the chance to write a Companion Chronicle. ![]() I mean, if you want to talk about the thing I’m proudest of, it’ll be those animated episodes of The Invasion – so much of what I did at the BBC was achieved through pain and misery and horror and those just happened and were joyous (what happened afterwards wasn’t quite so joyous, but at least I got some truly jaw-dropping stories out of that).įollowing that, how and when did you start writing for Big Finish?
